The Pew Research Center report consulted 10,000 participants and analyzed 500 news influential profiles

“The influential of the news has emerged as one of the main alternatives to traditional channels as a source of news and information for many people, especially younger people. And these influential have really achieved new levels of care and prominence this year in the middle of the presidential election,” said Galen Stocking, co -author of the study.

In most of the platforms analyzed, the number of male influences was twice as much as the female. In addition, the tendency is for these news profiles to take a more conservative political position, except for Tiktok, which has more influential liberals.
Most news have accounts on more than one platform and X leads the survey with 85% active profiles. Instagram arrives shortly after as a runner -up, with 50% of the influentials who join the network.
