Fire Ball Way

  • The fireball of green tones radiated to the fire and was weakly fragmented and left a persistent trail;
  • The phenomenon was seen in North America at 3:30 am (Brasilia time) on June 5 and walked north in the morning;
  • It was only two seconds, but the fireball appeared to the observers not only in New York, but also in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, some of whom were able to record their passage through the sky

How can you see this phenomenon?

These fireballs are visualizable when the old pieces of the solar system waste and vary from size, from millimeters to meters, reach the Earth’s atmosphere. This phenomenon burns and comes from the planets around them that are brighter.

Fireballs can be associated with a rain of specific meteors or passing “sporadically” when the random pieces of debris collide with our atmosphere.

There are now several rains of weak meteors, such as the annual rain of June Botheids, which probably reaches the maximum activity on Friday night (27). The phenomenon, however, should not be linked to any of them.

At her Space.comThe Robert Lunsford stars of the American Meteor Association said that the data captured in the brilliant meteor indicated radiant located in the constellation of Cepheus or Celopordalis. It seemed to travel very fast to be a member of the June boats.

Meteors, due to their own essence, are unpredictable phenomena. However, The Night Sky offers a multitude of shows that can be enjoyed without leaving the house.

Take a look at Meteor’s rains

Recently, the NASA Meteoroid Environment Office (MEO) has published the list of most important meteoring rains in 2025. These events take place every year basically at the same time, when the Earth passes through the trail of remains left by the passage of certain space bodies, usually quotes.

After starting on December 12, the rain of four four meteors will be the first to reach the peak of activity this year, which happens on Friday (3). According to NASA, this is one of the best such events. This is due to the fact that this meteorite rain can produce up to 110 light tracks per hour, but there is only in the northern hemisphere (here it is much less imposing).
